Nice results there?! dont take this the wrong way? I'm just curious.....

But I must ask....looking at jacks-GTB results also from MSR and his current mods...I'm just wondering how can you of pulled that figure? especially on the torque side of things?

Hey mate,

I was surprised too, don't worry.
Michael South himself was surprised - said it was the best result he's achieved from a GT-B.

As for answering your question, I technically can't - I don't kno how Michael got the figure he did, both power wise and torque.

One thing's for sure, I'm stoked about it tho.
Not only looks good on paper, but drives like a complete different car.

I will be going to WSID on Sunday June 24 to run it down the quarter.
Will definitely let everyone know how it goes :)

I had my 08 STI Liberty fitted with an XForce turbo back exhaust on Friday, followed by a tune with Michael South (MSR).
The exhaust is three inches from the turbo back, and then mated up to my stock STI quad mufflers.

I am absolutely over the moon with the result. I wasn't expecting the car to drive as well as it does now, nor was I expecting that much of a power figure.

The turbo spools up faster, and the car now has a nice note to it now with no drone what so ever - exactly what I was looking for.
Michael said the overall power figure was the best he has achieved on an STI Liberty, and after taking it for a drive himself, was stoked with the end result.

Huge thanks to Michael South for the exhaust install and tune, I honestly couldn't be happier.

Wow good result

I have a phat dump + 3" catback exhaust and I only achieve 145kw. I didn't know there was such a big difference with standard GT and STI engine??

George
Have you had your GT tuned? It should make more than 145kw with a full exhaust and tune. Then again different Dyno's produce different outputs.
The standard STI Libs normally have a few more KW (4-7) than the standard GT's on the dyno. Mostly due to a different ECU tune and slightly higher flow rear mufflers.

Send your GT up to MSR and he'll get some good results for you.
