Sorry for the hijack.

My mate travelled from Victoria the other week to get MSR to tune his MY12 WRX. My mate is wraped with the result and the way it now drives.

Full MSR TBE with UEL headers, silicon intake, CAI, waterspray kit, stock turbo (VF52) and stock topmount.

Doesn't look like the OE 2 port is holding it back.

Nice figures Gino

Keep in mind however that the my12 are quad avcs ;)

This would make a difference to boost response

Fair enough, I didn't know that. I thought/assumed just the STi received quad avcs..

The difference with a 3 port would be that 2nd gear would have that boost curve(even without per gear boost control)
4th generates more load to get it at that rpm.

Only the STI is dual AVCS

The MY12 WRX is single AVCS on the intake side, same as the lib.

Sorry Gino I thought you were referring to the Sti

Yes wrx is still ej255 and thus single avcs

Thanks Matt. Im definitely experiencing more pull in 2nd using the flappy paddles. Now that the weather is cooling down the boost feels really strong. I like it.
