I got tuned by Matt for e85 on the weekend and haven't had any issue with cold starts. Mornings have been about 4/5°c.. so far so good. Pretty stoked . * after about 3 tanks of e85- i have had cold start issues, drops in rpm when accelerating when cold. Probably best to have a few litres if 98 in the tank. * Matt reflashed my ecu- one of two things may of caused my issues.. my o2 sensor is on the way out or it was caused when I went to a dodgie petrol station when I was on empty and my ecu reset itself. Either way... fixed for now

Ok cool. We tried a tank of 98 and the cold starts were back to a normal 3 cranks (and this is only 17deg nights, so not that cold).

See if your ECU is supported by ECU labs or any other tuneable daughter board.
Injector upgrades are dependent on whether you're running side or top feeds, or use conversion rails if going top feed, etc, either way you'll be looking for at least 30-50% more flow over stock.

Can I ask what people are paying for E85 around the country at the moment?

Because we're now paying 149.9c at our local United :shock:

, in Townsville North QLD.

That's a jump of 25c compared to 2 weeks ago

Our only United within 400km that sells E85, was always 124.9c. No weekly fluctuations, just steady at that since it got installed about 6 months ago. But now, it's 1c more than 98 is today at BP.

You can take Caltex Moorebank off the list - they're doing more work on the forecourt, so no more Bio-Eflex from them for a while.

Thanks Billy, that confirms we definitely have overpriced E85 (20c more than the highest on that list).

What's that Fuel Price website you got that info from? It probably doesn't cover QLD regional city prices, but just interested.

All servos in NSW must register their fuel prices on a central and publicly accessible website.
I have it programmed on my desktop to search the E85 prices in a 30km radius of my home.
I watch it and look for the ripples at the bottom of the price cycle so I know when to fill up.

For those ethanol fiends in Brisbane's north, a new United E85-dispensing outlet has recently opened in Brendale (Sth Pine Rd).

Pretty convenient for me - so now there's fewer excuses for not getting a conversion done!
