For those that are interested, here's two 0-100 sprints logged of my Forester. Mods are only X-Force dump and Turbosmart Kompact BOV, then another run with CAI, everyting else stock as a rock.

Thanks Dazz! I love looking at logs :D

Dazz on my I phone so can't check logs but what idc are you seeing ?

As for id1000's being bad at low idc - unless you're comparing to factory injectors then i disagree. Latency / pulse width on the id1000's is perfect even at the 45% I was seeing on 98 when making 196 atw. The idle was better than stock!

A few people here running sard / denso 600 /700cc injectors also complain about the idle issues due to not being able to get correct scaling - bad pulsewidth

93% IDC with CAI, and 90% with stock box. The stock Foz injectors go static at 110%, so more than enough headroom.

ID1000's are one of the best from what my tuner tells me.

Dazz whats with the FBKC in one of your logs? Old Bruce mate would hang me by my ears if I had that on my TH tune!
Also damn 280 g/s? I struggle to make in the 250's :(
You have quite a few extra logging sections for your logcfg. It should work with my Lib just copy paste though yeah?

Hahaha! I'm not too concerned as it wasn't the final product... The CAI tune is what I'm running. i'm seeing higher maf g/s as the MAF has been scaled to suit the Hyperflow CAI. Since I can't do virtual dyno's with the autos, I use log times as an indication of improvement. Same road, same launches etc and it's a pretty accurate measure.

I'm not sure about copying and pasting the log parameters from my logcfg files as our ECU's are different. Give it a shot! Do you use CAN logging as well?

Sorry CAN logging?
I have a tactrix 2.0 and use a microSD card to log using a logcfg.txt file.....

Is g/s a kind of measure of kw in a roundabout way? it seems to me that the higher g/s the higher the power output. I'm just annoyed at my low 250 g/s cause I want to see higher numbers....Maybe I'll loosen the TMIC a bit

Good info dazz.

90% is up there though you would agree?

280g / s on a 2.5 is about right for 230-240 flywheel kw so good indication of power too!

How can 230-240kw @ flywheel be 200kw at the wheels? 16% loss
If 184kw @ flywheel is around 130kw @ wheels on stock form (from various people on the forum) 30% loss

I thought Subaru had huge losses through the AWD system?

Your ECU has no CAN logging support, hence the low number of logging parameters ;) It is the same generation of ECU as the 07 Forester XT and 07 WRX(A8DKxxxx spec), they are CAN but there is no CAN patch

Damn you Matt for making me sad
I was super interested in all those new logging parameters he had!

Care to give your take on g/s vs power figures?

From what I can tell with my limited knowledge of this stuff it seems to be the major factor in overall power? Is there any way to increase it via tuning(eg. Boost) or is it a set thing via the physical limitations of the car and it's mods? I ask this because I want to make sure there are no kinks in my pipes etc
I did notice a minor g/s boost when I put in my new HKS panel filter today.I have been running the same one for 2.5 years and washing it every 3 months but eventually just too much stuff stuck inside that I couldn't clean out plus degradation of the filter itself I figured it was time for a change.

90% IDC's may sound high and some tuners keep it in the 80s, but keep in mind the 550cc stock injectors go static at 110%. With rich AFRs, IDC will definitely be up there. If the tune is running very lean AFRs and seeing over 90% IDCs, I'd be concerned. Something interesting to note is that it's no uncommon for stock WRX STi to run IDCs over 100%-110% from factory due to rich AFRs..

AVO400, bigger injectors, TMIC, 3 in tubo back, Uneven stainless headers, AVO cold air intake, heavy duty clutch, now making 230KW ATW on 17- 18psi boost. My old injectors ran out at 214KW ATW. look at the massive difference in torque though.

All I did from Grren to Red larger injectors and better mufflers than the original STI quad tips. There inlet pipe is to small and they are restrictive.
