Hey guys so as the title says what OBD protocol does a MY08 MTWagon Subaru Liberty GT STI use?? so hard to find this info on aus cars....

SSM (Subaru Select Monitor) is standard for all Subarus worldwide.

The reason i ask is because i cant get any info regarding the vehicle manufacturer or the VIN from the ecu, but i'm starting to think that maybe that model didn't store that info on the ECU. Do you know if that info is stored on the ecu?? Do other dongles show the manufacturer or vin of liberty of that model?? Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm still curious as to why you ask it.
Are you looking to change swap ECUs between cars or do you want to modify VIN plates (or suspect someone else has)?
