Phenolic Spacers - Anyone done these?

Postby cpitts » Sun Nov 13, 2011 1:55 pm

Guys,

I'm looking at getting some 8mm phenolic spacers fitted while I'm getting silicon inlet pipe and TGV delete installed.

Has anyone done these mods yet?
Any feedback on them?

I don't expect peak kW changes, these mods are all about laminar airflow and throttle response.

Yes, the changes will be done in conjunction with an ECU reflash.

Yep I had 8mm grimmspeed versions installed when I built my engine. Can't tell you how it impacted things as lots done, but if you can measure the internal volume of a set of these then it marginally increases the entire volume of the inlet manifold on an already efficient (laminar flow wise) resin manifold that we have. Losing nothing if your already under there too
