Tuning with silicone inlet hose

Hey guys, so I just purchased a nice Perrin silicone turbo inlet hose,
And am really hoping I can run it without a tune but thought I would check with the local pro's first.

you can run without tune, but when i put mine in, i had to reset me ECU because i had my cruise control, SI drive flashing. And also then my car started fuel cutting... I spoke to Michael South who did my tune. And he said that it's maxed out on close loop.. so your car will be fine, but it's always good to get a tune...but if your doing more mods then i'd wait till you have all the parts then get a tune..

Should the MAF table be rescaled? Probably.

Do most tuners do this? No. Not one that I've seen anyway.

If it's your only intake mod (and I'd wonder why you'd chose an expensive hose over other more productive mods), just put it in, reset the ecu and drive it.

It won't make much difference and the ECU is easily able to adjust.

Of course your $200 would be better spent on a Tatrix cable, then you could rescale the MAF table yourself.

Yea I already have a cold air intake. I wanted it for the little turbo noise and I know the gains are not that big without a bigger turbo.
