Teach me how to log please?

I'm very new to this but would like to learn how to log my car - 07 GT spec B.

From searching around in this forum looks like i need a OBD 2 cable and download something from Romraider ?

I've looked into the Ecudatascan but Romraider seems to log a lot more stuff?

Main reason I'd like to start logging is cos my car was knocking at low rpm and want to make sure that i keep in eye on its performance and also maybe make improvements to the tune down the track by giving this info to my tuner.

You want to select the IAM, fine learning knock correction and feedback knock correction. Including rpm, boost, etc.

head to the romraider site and read the FAQ - it should answer most of your questions. as for which cable, it depends do you only ant to log? or have the capability to flash a tune at some point?

also do you already have a laptop?
