2008 AUS Liberty 2.5 Turbo Rom File

Postby EJ25T » Mon May 23, 2011 10:58 am

Hi,

New to this forum. Hello everyone

I am after a 2008 Aust Liberty STI 2.5 Turbo Standard or tuned Rom File.

I sent my ECU to Tactrix to remove the tune. as its locked. I can't access it with OpenECU

Just received the ECU back. Car won't start at all. Tactrix thinks he might loaded a wrong rom file in as my car is not available in US.

Also, does anyone know if I need to send the car to dealership to reset the immobilizer

Any help would be much appreciated

Might be the new ROM, but another possibility is the key link to the ECU. When I replaced my ECU, I had to take it to the dealership to re-link the keys to the new ECU. You'll have to pay for it though.

If you need a File for your ECU just PM me and I'll send one over I have them all here. You could have sent it to Chiptorque in QLD if you wanted to remove ECUtek or was it stuffed because of a failed flash
We can edit the Ecutek tuned ECU's and fairly soon do the ECU recovery or overwrite with our BDM gear. If you can write the file to the ECU successfully then it could be the immobiliser like Arith said.

Cheers
