Hi guys,
Just wanted some advise on my car tune, have gone through a few tune revisions, Can i get an opinion on this LV's i have pulled from my car.

Date of LV : 04/09/14 Tune A
Image

05/10/14: Tune B
Image

10/10/14 Tune B (Same tune)
Image

Tune B doesn't seem as strong as Tune A when i mash the throttle sometimes.

Are these LV's acceptable or does it need attention?

It's not ridiculously bad but definitely could do with a look

Same fuel?

Its gradually deteriorating as it learns which is not good

If you have changed fuel, put a fresh tank in from a place you know has good fuel

Then see how it goes

The knock sensor can't really be trusted, needs to be cross examined with logs and/or knock ears.

Fuel trims look fine.

Nothing definite that can be gathered from just this, but on the good side - nothing majorly wrong either.

If one tune feels better, it probably is...:)

Hi Mick,
Yes it has been the same Caltex 98 fuel i have been filling from the same station. Should i try United 100? I will give Shell V power a go.

Cheers

So boost is peaking 1 or 2psi higher.
I have been told to not worry too much about a little knock, assuming the ECU can compensate for it, may I ask: am I out of the safety zone here?

Its already added timing back in and considering you rarely get into that zone and the FLKC Additive Timer is set high, it takes longer to re-add back to 0. Thats a safety factor in that it is not adding back timing on a bad batch of fuel straight away etc

Yes it needs a tweak with mods though

Using stock FLKC values will have timing added in sometimes on the same power run making LV unpredictable. Saw it in a tuned car last night, pulled FLKC and added back in before it got out of rpm range.

Yours was picking up noise on knock sensor despite knock ears not getting a thing when it was on the dyno. Full boost is above 2.7 so for it to be on lower boost, its consistent with a deceleration rattle based on the shape of the values (goes from high rpm high toad to lower rpm and less load)

How often are you using flat foot shifting?

Filled her up with BP ultimate, different to the usual caltex 98 i get. went for a 120km run did a few 2nd and 3rd gear pulls.

Latest learning view pulled tonight.

Matt, I actually use flat foot shifting all the time when i give it the beans. Should i not?
is there somehow i can log some second gear pulls? feels like it doesn't come on as strong in second from a rolling start.

Cheers

Ah - I just read up on IAM and I see that it should be 1 - at least it's not knocking now (as I understand it from the fine corrections - but the IAM indicates that the tune is wrong?). My wideband O2 should arrive today and hopefully I can fit it in the next couple of days and get some decent data logs to work out what's going on.

Also - I'm running P100 in it exclusively now, but that should make it better, not worse?

Shot of may latest LV and previous before that.
Have had a service between the LV's but this shouldn't have affected anything i wouldn't have thought.
Slight deterioration which isn't good. Will need to do some logging for a better look.

Also having some trouble with using Romraider Logger with Jslayz car currently. Just doesn't seem to want to connect no matter which com port is used. Have tried all the USB ports and every com available but nothing.
I have no troubles with hooking up my own to it.
Can anyone shed some light on things to try/troubleshoots for this?

Cheers
