Are you running the latest version? Use a program manager like eg Revouninstaller to manage Java versions.

Can you see it under disk drives?
What OS is it?
Do your software versions match mine?

Sorry I only know XP... Maybe you could ask Jay Ritchie? He's on 7 or 8...

Yes, got the latest version of Java so Secunia tells me. All programs are up-to-date.
I can't see anything that relates to Openport 2.0 under disk drives??
Using Windows 7 and EcuFlash Version 1.44.4036, Released 2013-11-01

Sorry...can't seem to find your post about Java.

Yes... it will not launch. "ECUFlash error message has stopped working" and unable to open the device.

Uninstall everything and start again.
Use revouninstaller to get all the entries out of the registry too.
Reinstall everything maybe starting with Ecuflash...

Are you using 1.44? I had the same problem and nothing seemed to fix it. Went back to 1.43 and life is good.

Hey Adrian,

Yes, using 1.44 the latest version on the site. I've just finished uninstalling and re-installing but having problems with Romraider...just freezes.
Will try it again in the morning and if it fails, will contact Tactrix again.

Thanks again guys,
Al

Awesome find and added to the pretune FAQ :)

It might be a good idea to back up or have system restore working before proceeding.

This prompted me to DL Learning View this arvo and post an image up but...it tells me my ECU, A2SB000A, is not supported even though it is in the supported list. I can log with RR but no joy with Learning View. Matt you mentioned "wrong version of learning view" so obviously there's more than one? I have 0.6a
