fitting 2.5 inch quad tips, anyone done this?

hi guys,
was wondering if any one could help?

at present i have 2 inch quad tips but i want the 2.5's we originally ordered. looks like i'll have to cut the kit to fit them though and was just wondering if anyone has fitted 2.5 inch quad tips? and if so how did you go about it

any advice would be great

yeah, the phat built items were 2.5 inch diameter

did you have to modify the exhaust cutouts in the rear diffusor? cause it looks like thats the only way to get them to fit with mine

the tips have a curve in them (towards each other) as they leave the muffler.

God damnit they look good.
Jim, convince PHAT to make more! Saves me dropping 4k on the K2 Gear ones :oops:

the twins i have are 2.5" if i remember correctly.

not modding was required, but they have worn (melted) a bit of the bumper where they hit it over bumps

you do realise there are other options inbetween phat quads and k2 gear? :roll:

I think he means the quad system being produced by TCP Auto. That should generate more interest once it's proven and the exhaust note recorded.
