Help making my exhaust louder

I recently purchased a 3” xforce catback exhaust for my 04 GT, it already had a full turbo back exhaust on it from the previous owners that sounded loud but dog shit, sounded cheap, I heard that the xforce catback sounded nice and I watched a few videos on it sounded really good and loud even with the stock exhaust system, but with mine it’s quiet? Any ideas on how to unlock the Subaru rumble? Should I replace the other half of the exhaust system, delete cats?

Sounds like you might have a pre-facelift 2.0L GT? If so your engine has equal length headers. You won't be getting any kind of classic boxer "rumble" with this setup.

Main way to make an exhaust system louder is via the mufflers and removing any resonators/ hotdogs etc. Either big open canon style mufflers or go straight pipe, but it will be above legal sound limits and probably not a very enjoyable daily driver.

If you want the classic Subaru "rumble" you would need to install unequal length headers and likely change your turbo setup to accommodate. Won't be a cheap fix.

Doing resonator delete can make your exhaust louder but there will be some raspiness.

Yes getting rid of the resonator will make it louder but it won't sound like a rex or later model gts etc as long as it has equal length headers..
