Getting dump pipe by itself or y pipe aswell?

Hey guys, so i'm coming off my P plates in a few weeks and I already have a few mods on my wishlist to get for my 07 Gtb (auto)

AVO dump pipe http://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/3-stainless-steel-downpipe-liberty-gt-outback-xt-07-09.html
Perrin inlet hose http://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/turbo-inlet-hose-wrx-08-14-liberty-gt-04-09.html
Grimspeed ebcs http://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/electronic-boost-control-solenoid-wrx-08-14-liberty-gt-04-09.html

Now I'm not chasing massive power, everything on the gtb is completely stock except for tbsti mufflers and resonator delete. I'll be happy with at least 180kw atw.
Is it worth getting a y/mid pipe along with the dump? Or does the y pipe not really restrict any power?

I would get a full turbo back exhaust but I kind of want to keep the tbsti quads, and getting the dump pipe by itself saves alot of money opposed to a tbe. I should also mention that I don't really want it much louder than it is.
Also open to suggestions as to what other mods I should get. Cheers!

Dump pipe will give you the majority of gains (if i dare put a percentage on it 85%) compared to a full turbo back exhaust upgrade. The dump is the most restrictive part of the car make up and will give you decent gains. If your happy to keep your quads you can always get a dump and replace your center/y-pipe to something later on when you have the $$ or time to.

I started with dump first (+tune) then added a fujitsubo catback on afterwards (+tune pending).

Have a look at some of the members builds on the forum. with a dump+inlet you would be getting around the 160kw mark.

Ok cool, thanks for the informative reply. I might aim for a full tbe then.
