Phat GT Dump Pipe Group Buy - Min 5

Postby macko » Tue Oct 06, 2015 12:35 pm

Hi All,

Have contacted Garage 88 and they're willing to make a batch of Phat GT Dump pipes if there is a minimum of 5 people to go in on it. From what I have heard people are very happy with theirs, and am looking to also increase the performance of the car.

Cost: $880
Shipping can be arranged (To Melbourne is $23)

I have an Auto so specifically need it to be shaped differently due to the Trans being slightly bulkier than the Manual. I am pretty sure this would also fit on the Manuals but have asked Garage88 to confirm this.

Code: Select all
Hi Jason

unfortunately we dont stock of the auto model in stock but we have
been asked quite a bit lately. if we can get 5 or more people together
we will make a batch

current price $880  + shipping to Melb  $23

Regards,

Michael

Is the install DIY or do we need special tools and a professional?

There are plenty better and cheaper dumps already available. For example Invidia.

Does the Invidia clear the auto?

In my experience, yes. Each car is subtlely different though (turbo/engine position relative to the chassis). A good exhaust shop should have no issues fitting it with no dramas.

You wrote gen IV. Interpreted that as wanting a Gen 4 dump.

Cheap dump pipe for Gen5 would be Xforce.

Hi All,

Sorry for the delayed response - i've fixed the email address (was going to my previous works address).

This is for a Gen 4 Liberty Auto, noticed that one of you drove a Forrester within your signature so will double check with you via PM.

So I have the current people interested

1. Me (Jason)
2. stuart277
3. Rno
4. BL5 (via PM)
5. confirming with a user

Once I can confirm with you guys either via PM or post, i'll contact Garage88 to see if they'd be willing to do it for at least 4.
