Another gen v dump pipe advice

Postby joseph.78 » Fri Sep 04, 2015 12:34 am

Ok have read all the other posts but still not sure.
Hks $1300 too much.
Invidia not available.
So thinking avo dump pipe.

Question is dump only what sort of increase in power assuming car has been tuned before dump and retune after dump?
Also the avo comes as dump only or dump to cat back flange, does that extra mid pipe being 3 inch make much differnce in power? Dont want drone i already have straight through rear mufflers and its an auto.

Also avo is a 200ci cat is there much performance difference between the 200 as apposed to the 100 in the hks?

Dump + mufflers will give you almost exactly the same power as a full TBE including midpipe. Also, dump and no tune will throw a CEL. You WILL need a tune.

The HKS dumps are 150ci, not 100.

AFAIK, There is no performance difference between the 100/150/200ci cats on our cars. If there is, it's negligible.
