Gen V Dump options

Hey,

Hoping some people can assist as I am very keen to get a new dump and Kido tune for my 2011 Liberty GT Auto ASAP.

So I have been looking around at dump options and below is what I have found

Xforce dump - from best mufflers https://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/prod ... 7b37bbd3d8 - This seems the best and most cost effective option however I was told it would require modification to fit - anyone have any details on modification required and any other products I might need to make it fit?

HKS dump - from Garage 88, seems overly expensive for just a dump, not sure if any modification is required to make this fit

Pro Speed Racing - They said they can supply a dump that will fit (a little more expensive then Xforce) however after 3 emails back to them they havent sent me brand of dump and whether it is a direct fit or not.

Any thoughts and options on what dump I should be looking at and also on the fitment of the Xforce dump would be a huge help

Thanks!!!

I thought the XForce TBE bolted straight up, speak to raraku here on the forums (I think that's how its spelt) he has one installed.

Other options are AVO and Invidia, both cheaper than HKS and probably better quality than XForce.

I'm looking at either AVO or custom at the moment, as it works out about the same price +/- $200

Avo has a 200ci cat as opposed to 100 on all the others. So a little less flow. Not sure if that makes much difference.
Im trying to wrk out what i want to do aswell for my gen v

Thanks guys,

I spoke directly to Xforce and they also mentioned modification is required to fit.

Anyway I think I will go ahead with this option - not sure even where to get Avo and Invidia dumps suitable. I have used Xforce before and only really heard good reports from them.

Might be some time before it gets done, want to get done as closely to tune as possible.

HKS is 150ci.

Doesn't matter on our cars anyway, makes zero difference unless you're talking bigger turbo + a built motor.

Does anyone have a guesstimate of cost to fit a dump pipe? I'm weighing up AVO + Kido (~$1100 + fitting + a fair bit of running around to get everything done) vs MSR (a few hundred $ extra - uses an Invidia dump - but much less hassle to organise).

Cheers,
Wally.

Depends on the shop. My shop charged me 1hr labour to fit my supplied dump, although they were already doing timing belt etc so it wasn't a huge hassle.

I looked into the Invidia dump and wasn't impressed with the design, it doesn't have any obvious consideration for the wastegate gasses. AVO and HKS dumps are both bellmouth style with an obvious path for wastegate gasses. FWIW I ended up with HKS.
