Exhaust help!

Postby Nick. » Wed Jul 08, 2015 8:29 pm

Hey guys I've got an 07' Liberty Gt wagon and I'm looking at putting a full exhaust on it.

I have the opportunity to buy a catback 3" system but I'm really keen on getting a full turbo back, if I buy the catback system can I down the track buy a dump pipe and get it fitted or do I need any more parts??

It's my first turbo car and I'm still getting used to it haha!! I was told I could get a catback exhaust fitted and have no problems running it without an after market tune..has anybody done this or do I still need a tune once fitted?

Any help would be awesome as I'm confused asf aha!! Cheers, Nick

If catback is bolting up to stock dump then there are aftermarket dumps which will fit without any significant modification.

Tune not really necessary as stock dump is the restrictive part, but you should get a tune anyway.
If car has never been tuned you'll notice a significant improvement in drivability with one.

Dump should probably be done first if you're interested in performance over noise.
Tune will be necessary with dump though, to gain full benefit.
