Could I mod a WRX dump pipe to fit my twin scroll lib?

Id like to put a dump pipe on my 04 GT but dont have the funds to buy one.
If I can get a WRX one for a 3rd of the cost and change the flange and mod the gearbox mount, how close a fit will it be. Doesnt bother me if I have to extent it or add a bit of a bend to it.
Figure it might be easier than making one from scratch
