Phat Dump Pipe

Postby Nikko » Wed Feb 11, 2015 5:39 pm

Hey gents,
been scrolling through the forums and have seen quite a bit of mention of these phat dump pipes. Is there a particular reason people appear to be so in love with them?

Oh also, garage 88 doesn't appear to list this dump on their site. I assume I'd have to have a chat with them see when and if they are making more.

Many have tried, all have failed. It's moot point how good the Phat Dump is, there hasn't been any made in ages.
If you could turn up with an order for 10, cash in hand, I'm guessing it might be considered a viable option.
I think G88 are just busy enough with regular work and the LGT Phat Dump market is too small to be bothered with.

Manual. Garage 88 sent me this email.

Hi James,

Yes, our PHAT GT dump pipes will fit your car. The dump pipe is made from mild steel, ceramic coated in and out for better heat insulation. It has a 200 cell high flow cat for less back pressure. It only needs a slight modification to the top heat shield to accommodate the bigger pipe. Installation instructions will be included.

Our dump pipes comes with two years warranty against cracking when installed by a licensed mechanic.

We have it in stock, it is $890 pick up. Postage is extra, and depends on your postcode. We can also install it at our Sydney workshop for $150.

Side note you guys buy them all now before I do I'll be super pissed.
