H6 twin cat delete?

Postby Evozn » Tue Jun 10, 2014 12:00 am

Hey guys,

I've heard of the third cat delete done on many peoples systems but has anyone done a twin delete right after the head and leaving just the single cat or a higflow cat?

Thanks.

Yep done it on mine.
Extractors>1st O2 sensor>2nd O2 sensor>Y pipe>100 cell magnaflow>Xforce 2.25" mid>Xforce 2.25" Y>Ultrex Quads
Only had to put a cat in because the exhaust place wouldnt work on it otherwise...

How do you bypass the check engine light issue without having a cat between the sensors?

How is your low to mid range torque and low speed driveability

Im looking at changing a lot of the exhaust but am nervous my round town driving will go back to being shuddery and need more revs to go smoothly etc.

Matts tune has torque from basically 1000rpm up.
I drive everywhere in 5-6, been down to 40kmh in 6 no probs.
Cant say if i really notice lower torque after removing the cats tbh.
