Anyone gutted a X force muffler?

Postby MumblesOfficial » Thu Jun 05, 2014 5:03 pm

Been looking around but haven't been able to find out how straight through the x force mufflers are. Does anyone know or had one open? Just wondering what my next step could be for getting more noise.

Note: I've got a 3" tbe x force fitted

Get rid of both cats (I think you already have), get rid of the resonator. Get a wider exhaust - 3.5. Build your engine.

Or just get an EWG with a screamer.

Xforce are pretty straight through.

Mine seem to be pretty straight through (can see light when looking through even with the bend). The mufflers make a big difference to the noise, full tbe with stock mufflers sounds almost stock, but with the xforce muffs it is heaps louder, I'm looking into an extra resonator to make it quieter
