TCP to STI mufflers - ?need a retune

Postby someone466 » Sun Sep 29, 2013 7:12 pm

Hi guys, well I have a turbo back TCP exhaust system. Tuned with chip torque. Makes a nice noise, but tends to drone a bit. I was thinking of putting the STI quad tips and removing the TCP mufflers. I imagine that the STI quads flow a bit less than the TCP ones, will I need a retune or will it be fine to simply swap them out?

Thanks in advance

How old is the TCP system? (been on the car for a while?). I think Tony from TCP has changed the rear mufflers to quieter ones since the original design...

I swap between my quiet muffs and the noisy muffs at will, an ECU reset for relearning should suffice and is all I do.
