TCP quads too short

Hey all, just had my TCP quads delivered yesterday, spent last night fitting them onto my 08 Outback, and they sit way too in, same length as the standard muffler tip. I did measure them to double check they are for the wagons 24cm & 23cm top side of the tip (longest side)

I was thinking of taking them to an exhaust shop and getting the tips extended a further 7 – 10cm.

You guys reckon it’s worth it? Or should I sell them and get a custom set made for the Outback specs? They did sound very well, just the amount of sound I wanted.

p.s. ive attached pics, not sure if they work, never posted pics before.

Are they sedan mufflers perhaps?

I measured them, and the longest tip is 24cm from body to tip, says on they tcp page that this is how long the wagon ones are, guessing that the outback has a different diffusers it may need a longer tips.

Might just sell them, will be asham to cut it up.

I think that's your problem.
