Need a new cat converter (advice?)

Hello all ive been told my Cat converter is playing up on my 07 lib STI, I've been getting engine light issues an it will need replacing soon. I was thinking about upgrading it if it needs to be done. What would people recommend? High flow?

What cel?
Always get a 2nd opinion and research the options.

i had subaru diagnose it today. i had the problem where my engine light was on and cruise light flashing, where else should i get it diagnosed?

As i know your car (knew the previous owner), it's P0420, cat out of efficiency.
It's due to your 3" MRT exhaust, also due to your tune running quite lean (~13 at WOT) due to it being an MRT tune.
No point in replacing your cat, you just need to get your tune fixed (which requires unlocking your ECU)

Get it unlocked at MRT or ChipTorque
I've got a stock Center pipe w/ 3" inlet if that might help?

i might take it back to revzone who put the mrt tune on it and try get it sorted before i touch the cat

They might reflash you back to stock... then drive around in "I" till you can get another tune.

Tell em to stick it and that you're asking for a refund under statutory warranty or for them to reflash back to stock under their obligations

The product is not performing to the standard advised (cel is enough proof) and any competent mechanic can tell you an afr of anywhere near 13:1 at wot is negligent and dangerous to your engine.

Worst case - deliberately brick the ecu then send it to chip torque in QLD for it to be unbricked
