ACT Advise/Recomendations

Postby Lib_owner_ACT » Mon Jun 03, 2013 9:04 pm

So now I am ready to make my first mods, I'm looking at a new exhaust, looking for better fuel consumption and of course a better sound.

Stainless Steel I think is my preferred, only because I use the car for a number of short trips rather than big runs.

I now look to you gurus for advise / recommendations of shops in the ACT area that I can turn to?

Thanks in advance.

Techworkz Automotive in Tuggerz are the local Subi specialists. They deal with TCP Auto systems which are stainless steel and great value for money, so it's worth giving them a call. They'll point you in the right direction if TCP don't do an exhaust for your model.
Other recommendation I can make is Powatone in Fyshwick. Roy there is a great bloke and has done some quality work for me. They deal with Xforce and Redback and a few other brands, plus a lot of custom work.

+1

I have TCP and am a fan.
I've heard endless great things about Techworkz and my car will be going there soon.
The quality of Powatone's work on a friends car (non-suby) was great.
