Y pipe flexibility

Guys,

When stock mufflers yes stock mufflers are bolted back up to the car there seems to not be much movement in y pipe as in when mufflers are in hangers etc

Is this a bad thing ? Hope I've explained properly

Theres enough flex to align the muffs with king size zip ties if need be.

But first do the muffler nuts up medium tight, then align, then tighten hard!

Ignore K, he can occasionally be really helpful and nice!

Yeh did that at it seems that it feels very rigid so was concerned about the y pipe being fixed tight like that with not much play...

Seem much more rigid now don't want any damage or stress on parts..

But zorst components are durable by nature so as long as the alignment is good u should be ok...

Just feels like when all is in line and on the hangers there is stress as it doesn't feel natural if that makes sense

As long as all the rubber cookies for the hangers inc the one near the rear diff are in place and the zorst isn't contacting the body or heat sheilds you'll be fine.

Eg stock muffs: cookies vertical/prova muffs: cookies horizontal.
Because different shape cans, provas are a lot smaller than stock.

Id say the main reason the muffs inlets are on that particular angle is for alignment purposes.
