Fujitsubo exhaust advice please

Postby Chris08GT » Wed Apr 03, 2013 5:42 pm

Hi all,

Ive got an 08 Liberty GT TB STI wagon (auto).

I have the chance to buy a second hand cat back Fujitsubo exhuast. Its "a few years old".

Apart from the dump pipe being different for manual and auto (mines an auto), is the cat back exhaust the same?

He claims he paid $1700, wants $750.

Any thoughts/advice please?

Yep catback will bolt straight on.
The muffler tips may need to be extended if they were on a sedan previously.
$750 for a 2nd hand stainless system is a reasonable price.
The system will be very loud and droney in a wagon-auto combo once the down pipe has been installed.
Leaving the STI mufflers on and upgrading the rest of the exhaust system will give you good power gains without the big noise.
