Opinions on headers for a 2.5 N/A?

Was wondering how people feel about headers on a 2.5 non turbo. I've noticed Kando headers seem to be the favoured choice/bang for buck, and am trying to decide is it worth it?
Cheers david.

For an NA, I'd go UEL's purely for the noise, you won't make any noticeable performance gains with headers unfortunately.

What about improved functional driving, performance increase (even if it is negligible at best) and fuel economy?

Kando headers are equal lengths= no boxer rumble. I am working on making a few sets of UEL headers for the na 2.5 based on the borla headers off a wrx

Hey buddy, I just had a full engine back exhaust fitted with UEL headers, and on my gen 4 2.5 it made a huge difference to responsiveness and performance on bottom end. From the header I ran a hi flo cat, 2.5" exhaust back to twin hi flow mufflers with a small resonator prior to the splitter pipe.

I did UEL headers and catback on my previous car, a 2.5 NA and it sounded great. It did feel a bit more responsive, but you won't see any significant power gains. I'd do it again though
Edit: My pipe size was 2.25 as I was told this is optimal for a 2.5 NA engine
