UEL Headers - 05 2.0L GT

Postby dle » Sat Dec 15, 2012 8:47 pm

hey guys,

so i've tried to search around the net looking for answers about whether anybody has installed unequal length headers on the 05 GT with twin scroll.

has anybody tried customising the up-pipe to make it fit?

haha yeah i gathered. so according to what i've been reading, is that EL headers will work well with twin scroll.. something to do with better ratio or something.

whats the outcome in replacing new headers on the 2.0L gt?

You will need to go single scroll. I used to run a vf34 on a set of WRX headers. I now run a set of Kando equal length single scroll headers, they are much better. Car is much nicer to drive. Doesn't have that booming WRX note to it.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.
