Hi guys, couldn't find a definite answer to this topic. Interested in purchasing an Xforce dump from Best Mufflers as I'm under the impression an Xforce +08 WRX dump should fit the Liberty GT.b manual (MY07-09). Can anyone confirm this model dump will in fact bolt straight on without modifications?

Yes, the 08+ WRX dump will fit. I ended up getting a mild steel X Force dump fitted which required no mods to fit (other than trim turbo heat shield). None of the local exhaust shop owners knew a definite answer either until I got mine installed.

What about for auto?

Sorry Shav, I can't help you with a definite answer.
My best bet would be the Liberty auto dump pipe would be the same as the Forester S-edition dump pipe, since they both have 5spd autos...and usually Forester and WRX share it's parts, so if the WRX has a 5spd auto (which I'm not sure of), then it should fit. The dump for the manual is different though.

Thanks Nathan, I contacted Best Mufflers they mentioned this 100 cel cat would fit the lib, that the same one you got installed?

No worries mate. Nah, I ended up getting a Redback 100 cel which was recommended by my local exhaust shop to be better than the X-force one...I guess the difference would be very minimal.

I'm pretty sure the 100 cel cat at the bottom of the linked page is the one I have, with flanges welded onto it.

Sorry Shav, I've had a look around the internet and realised X-force still doesn't make a specific dump pipe to suit the auto.
I've been told by Matt (kido_tuning) that TurboXS and Invidia LegacyGT Auto are the ones he knows of which will fit. Or a Phat dump(if Phat still supplies those)

Ah ok. That's pretty much what I thought. Thanks mate. I know Matt has the Invidia system on his Foz. Seems to love it. The TurboXS stuff is harder to come by. When the time comes, I'll have to try and find a reseller.

Ordered the Xforce WRX dump pipe, mid and Y pipe from BestMufflers yesterday, arrived over night
Thinking of spraying the Y pipe black to match the mid pipe and my TCP quads.
All up around $600 with delivery. Just need to get a cat then get it all installed. Thanks for the advise Nathan!

No worries mate, looks good! You'll be seeing some significant changes in the cars performance when you install them

Yeh I'm looking forward to it. got a HKS panel filter to fit also, will install it when I organise a proper tune for the car shortly

Hey Dutch,

My suggestions with your setup is this:

1/ Flex joint ( dont get a cheap one, chris @ best mufflers sells xforce ones )
2/ Bung for the O2
3/ Remove the angle bracket on the dump as its not used
4/ Cat? 100 cel / 200 cell ( should of got it off chris @ best mufflers as well )
