When I asked the guys at Hi-Tech if they could do a full turbo back with system with quads including UEL headers they came back with:

'We do offer a Turbo-Back Exhaust for your MY10 GT but it comes with single tailpipes on each side. We may be able to modify your rear apron to accommodate Quad tips but we would need to firstly sight your car and, if possible, enlarge the original cut-outs.
As for extractors, we do not offer any for your car. The costs involved to custom-make a set for you will far outweigh any benefit you may see.'

I have since spoke to Phat and plan to head out to Garage88 sometime in the next few weeks, for a chat and a browse... I have a quite a list of mods but the exhaust is currently at the top of the list :)

So just checking back in - what was the outcome of the UEL debate (cost v gains/losses, etc)??
2011 Gen5 Liberty GT (auto), STi front lip and trunk spoiler, Sports mesh grille, lowered and improved handling (more to come), Full X-Force 3" exhaust, King alloys - KiDo (Matt) Tune, Imported DRLs, Corazon Big Scoop - and loving it!! Hmmm, May need a bigger Turbo next :)

Finally got mine installed by Garage 88 last Friday, purchased off Geno.
Had the local A1 Exhaust shop order and install some tips that went on Yesterday, nice thick 4 inch.
Haven't really felt more power since it went on, waiting for a Kido tune later this month so should feel and run better.
Glad it's a varex as it's droney on the highway, mainly being an auto it's handy to turn it off!
So glad the stock pipe's have gone

I spoke to several different sources and there seemed to be more cons than pros to achieving the burble/UEL for the GenV. Although not impossible, but detrimental to performance in return for the burble.

I ended up going for a HKS ES Premium catback system, courtesy of G88 which I'm extremely happy with.

Nah not yet Dubs. Had new springs fitted as well so the $$$ started to add up pretty quickly. Still need to do BOV, grille, scoop and tune - but that will probably be next month.

I take the ED every day to work and I can easily say the best part/s of my day is driving to and from work :D

I'll be VERY keen to hear how it goes for you fella's.... I will aim to book in for the next KiDo Sydney visit or just use insight when next at G88.
