Hi guys, this might be a stupid question, but is it possible for an exhaust shop to lengthen sedan STi muffler tips to suit a wagon?

Hmm, after thinking about it, this could be a bad idea if I wanted the resell the mufflers at a later date.

I will just contain myself and wait for some wagon STi quads to pop up.

I hear that TCP mufflers create too much noise/drone in a wagon. :(

It would depend on how much you bough the mufflers for.......

I had TCP quads on my wagon with stock centre. Definitely no drone. 2.0T though.

06-07 tips would be easier to extend as they are just standard single wall stain steel pipe…… just find a good fabricator that well brace the tips during the cutting and re-welding so that the tips maintain the right distance and angle.

08’s have a rolled tip so they are slight thicker, it might be a little harder to find material to suit.

Hey Todd mine are off a sedan, they do sit in a little but the look does grow on you after a while. At $400 and very low K’s I wasn’t going to let them go.
