New Dump Pipe

Postby xGFYx » Fri Aug 10, 2012 9:13 am

I'm getting a custom dump pipe made to suit my 2005 Liberty GT automatic. If anyone else is interested, the shop can make more than one since my car is being used for the template. These are pretty expensive so I thought I would search around for a custom shop to do it.

I'm using mild steel and will wrap it, but you may be able to choose stainless. It won't matter to my job, it's only welding...

A little more info please.

Which state?

Approximate price?

Specs (number of cats? cat cells?, diameter? flex joint? number of O2 sensor bungs?)

These are mild steel (or stainless, they don't care). I'm wrapping mine.
100 Cell bullet cat.
Both O2 sensor bungs

I didn't ask for a flex pipe, but it's probably an option for anybody else.

I'm doing a time & materials and expect between $500-$600. Thats was the 'guesstimate' I was happy with. We will see when it's done but at least I have the ceiling price.

The Gold Coast shop is Mufflers to the Max. I've never seen so many race cars in one shop. It should be pretty nice..
