varex mufflers in car sound?

Hey , I have a cannon exhaust at the moment , I hate how loud it is inside the car, I have just put a deposit down on a varex muffler with the butterfly valve , when it is closed will that make it quiet inside the car? or am I wasting my money?

It will be quieter than your cannon when closed, that's for sure. When opened, its hard to tell without really know how loud your cannon is to begin with.
