Hey mate, I have same car :) I run a Phat Dump and an ultrex Catback pretty good bang for your buck.

Check out the exhaust sounds thread on here. Find what you want yours to sound like, then maybe see where the best place to source and install the gear.

Try Maximum Motorsport, quoted me under $2K for full turbo back and was to be made by Norm Butler (makes a lot of headers etc. for drag cars).
Depends what you want though....

Genie exhausts in Myaree.
They did my custom exhaust setup with rounded oval tips at the back. As for the sound, there is no boxer rumble, but it's not a tuned sound either (somewhere in between).

Can I ask about Genie's price, I have always found them a bit pricey

Ultrex (http://www.ultrex.com.au/) in Perth do a "SUBARU LIBERTY EXHAUST MY07 -09 TURBO BACK 3 INCH FULL STAINLESS" for $1200 (not fitted). Best bang for buck around. I heard the cat back version recently on a 2007? GT Lib and it sounded really nice.

They do mail order only I believe.
Started with a Gen2 Outback, then got a MY07 GT Spec.B Manual w Cat Back Exhaust and Verso Tuned, now got 2 kids and a MY07 GT Auto Wagon, Ultrex stealth back exhaust, panel filter, Whiteline Sways all round, Spec.b struts and springs and Kido-Tuned.

We can load you up with a cat back and S Technic in Maddington can do the install.
Cat backs and turbo backs both now on special too :)

Will be well under a grand fitted for cat back in full stainless

Thanks for the help guys gonna have to have a good think hey. Is the ultrex system gonna fit an 05 cause it says 07 and the 07 and 05 sound very different. I'm just trying to avoid an airy sounding exhaust last thing I want is to sound like a skyline.
