MY05 2.5 new exhuast?

Postby Libertying » Tue Oct 11, 2011 4:56 pm

Hey guys, I just recently bought my first car! (MY05 2.5 Liberty) I just got a quote from a local muffler shop, for a new stainless steel exhaust. I'm fairly sure its 2.5" all the way through but not actually quite sure. He said $880 for exhaust and instalation. Is this a good deal?

Sounds like it's a cat-back exhaust. Price is about right. Sizing is wrong though...2.5 inch is too big for a 2.5 NA engine.

2 1/4" max piping with decent mufflers.

Being an NA you need a bit of back pressure.
