Yay! Got a new custom 3" (splits into 2 1/4) turbo back. Glad to have some rumble on my car again :)

Looks good! Any pictures of the muffler itself? How is your feedback so far? Judging by a 3" setup with only a single hotdog, sounds like it may be a bit on the loud side. More pics and some vids when you get a chance please! Hint hint.

Sorry no pics of the mufflers at the moment. I'm happy with the increase of power but must say it's Loud! Especially when I plant my foot lol. I might have to look into a 2nd hotdog (not sure how much extra that will be) but for now I'll keep it as is and make a quick video when I get the chance.

From experience, it's not going to help. People tend to recommend all out performance with the 3" setup, but forgot to explain how loud it's going in case people are looking for earth shattering noise levels. I know it's too late, but if you have a bit of money and can do with a bit of performance hit, I'd recommend a 2.5" centre pipe setup with a mini-muffler.

Ok cool So no point looking into a 2nd hotdog then. Atm I'm short on $$ to play around with the exhaust as I am doing other things to the car but I'll see how I go with this setup for a few weeks at least or until I get a EPA (pls no lol) then I will have to do something.

Thanks Arith

Yeah, just give it some time. The mufflers are new but once they get carbon built up, they will quieten down. Say, about 3-4 weeks? After that see how you like it. You never know, you might be able to live with it. :D

Embedded..

Sounds good to me. Doesn't sound overly loud. Although does sound like it could have that drone at about 3000rpm or when sitting on a highway on 110km/h.... I'd be interested to hear the in-car noise...
