HKS ES Premium Mufflers for 3.0R system

I got these off Yahoo japan for 450AU single bid and won. shipping was another 250 because of retarded box size but i think its worth it (or mebe cos im brand whore)

Inlet is 2.5" straight through and tips are 4.5" with burnt titanium tip look. material is polished Stainless Steel. everything bolts up and fits in without a problem as expected from HKS.

the sound from the rear is a nice rumble but not loud and droney even when engine is on load (77db free rev idle)

im unlikely to go further with the rest of the exhaust at this point in time as i think gains are negible and im quite happy with drone-less driving. ill come back to this when i gets my handleing mods / rims /asthetics done. then get a v-tune and sees hows it is from there and besides these just look awesome (even betten i can dump the car ;))

It looks really nice. Very similar to the STi Genome mufflers.

As in, how are you going to get a V-tune? :P
His point is that Vin no longer works at STi Docklands.

nice nice sound.
still the only thing that annoys me about the 3.0r spec b is the intake whine. It's not quite a roarrr but it still drowns out the exhaust a bit. just my opinion though.
still a great sounding exhaust mate :)

Nice looking muffs. Am looking into some HKS mufflers for my Gen5 wagon.
Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa

Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

Thanks Clarence, ive still a long way to catch up to your sexy stallion!

Oh yeah right the V-tune. i used that term before i found out vin no longer works at docklands, so ill just call it an ecu flash now, is that ok with you kristian? ;)

i thought it was the sound from the chain timing belt lol. but whatever it is i agree, it muzzles the sound.

Phat doesn't do second hand/yahoo japan. Streeter or import monster is your best bet
