I'm definitely set on buying Phat Quads if he makes another batch 8)

Also, depending on when all of this goes ahead and how much I have saved, I'd be set on buying a centre pipe and possibly a dump pipe for the full catback or turboback upgrades.

You would need to talk to him about getting them fitted to yours though. The jigs for the quads were setup for Gen 4's and I would be very surprised if they were a straight bolt up onto a Gen5. Certainly not impossible though

Yeah they wont fit., its closer The WRX 08+. I just jumped into the thread to see how much other interest there was. I guess if we got 5 or more confirmed with money ready to go I'd have more confidence approaching him to ask. I don't want to waste his time otherwise.

if you want info on pricing check phat's previous threads...the price cant be too far off from that.

dump pipes are $950 from memory...mild steel and ceramic coated inside and out with cat and aftermarket exhaust adaptor included.

I'd definitely be in for a set of Phat Quads and possibly a centre as well.
I installed a Phat Dump a few months ago. Awesome!! 8)

I bugged Phat for a set of Quads back then, but to no avail :(
Hopefully, we can get enough interest going to make it happen...

would love the black coated ones too if he can.... whether it be mild steel or stainless.

Luckily i checked as I was about to equire with Liverpool exhaust in the next few weeks. WOuld be a proud PHAT quad owner! Wish I could afford a full exhaust system.. but think its just gonna be the cat back.

ps... i'm sorta going to admit that i'm getting excited.

I just have to also say that from what PHAT said in the emails, I don't think he's going to be making the centre pipes this time as he said something about being able to buy them from japan for cheaper than it costs him to make them himself.

This is going to be one of those long wait ones though, I guess Michael would have to try and source the materials first etc.
So please give it time, luckily for me I need to save up some cashola for these so I'm in no rush to buy right now. If you can wait a couple of months then just bookmark this thread and I'll try and keep you guys updated / get Michael to update you guys.

Definitely considering getting phat quads again, although I've spent far too much on my car this last week.

would the sound difference be much if i just got the quad tips?

or would i need to get all the centre pipe, dump pipe and tips to really hear the difference?
