I've got the same as illuzn, just 100 cats instead of 200. It is a bit loud at times with the X force system, particularly at around 2500 to 3000 rpm, like when you are taking off from traffic lights and trying not be be loud. I would like it to be a bit quieter when it needs to be quieter. I don't think it's all that outrageously loud at full throttle and 7000 rpm.

Throttle remap fixes noise taking off ;) Should be near whisper quiet on light throttle

Light throttle or Light Accelerator movement....?
two vastly different and seemingly unrelated concepts in these F***ing things

hahaha...

sorry to go OT
but Matt, any idea on how long to give the 3RB a quick once over when you're in Launnie
I'll have to be up there for work during the day but won;t have much time
it's really only the poor throttle maps and 2000rpm pinging that I hate about the car...

Yep... its pretty loud when taking off from the lights for me too...

I got a custom silencer install done... basically chop off the exhaust tip... reweld on a single wall exhaust (rather than the bent double wall)... then whack in a bolt in restrictor...

good for a fairly decent reduction on part throttle and removeable when you want to go for a squirt... the extra restriction does cause the car to run a little rich though.

also regarding previous comments... meant a 15-20kw improvement across the range ATW and 50-70Nm improvement in torque ATW... I was expecting more to be honest but they are just numbers and the drivability and fun factor has definitely increased a heap more than the numbers reveal.
