Interesting in getting new exhaust, been doing some minor research for what mods are realistic for my model, decided exhaust and air intake is all i'l do, got a quote for full exhaust with catalytic converter for about 950. my main question is will there be a noticeable change installing the catalytic converter? he said its about 300 less without it and can be installed later. anyone done similar would love to hear from you and any suggestions i might have overlooked.

A high flow catalytic converter (I assume that's what they're talking about including) won't have much impact on sound, though will potentially help performance assuming that the stock one is a bottleneck in the overall exhaust system.

i spoke to a guy and he said that an after-market exhaust will start setting of sensors and warning lights on the dash? where are the sensors located? or should i just get mufflers and leave it a that!
