ECUFlash & Romraider Information

To work on your cars, where you can acquire the rom on the car and also log your car, please perform the following actions for your cars, but the final logging data below will be for the 3R as I am working on those now.

Download EcuFlash and install it. Plug in your OpenPort 2.0 and start up the EcuFlash software and let it update your cable.
http://openecu.org/downloads/ecuflash_1422595_win.exe

Download Romraider .exe and its Logger zip file
Romrader:-https://www.assembla.com/spaces/romraider/documents/aAJU42aAGr4z3KacwqjQWU/download/aAJU42aAGr4z3KacwqjQWU
Logger Def: http://www.romraider.com/forum/download ... p?id=16066

Install Romraider. Extract the logger.xml file from the zip file and placed it here:- C:\Program Files\RomRaider\

With Ecuflash program closed, run romraider with the cable attached to the computer. Make sure you have the correct port selected to see the cable. When selected and the cable is attached to the car (car should be on start or running) by the footpanel, romraider should say its connected.

Once connected, log the following parameters:
A/F Sensor #1 (AFR)
A/F Sensor #2 (AFR)
Engine Load (Calculated) (g/rev)
Engine Speed (rpm)
Feedback Knock Correction (1-byte)** (degrees)
Fine Learning Knock Correction (1-byte)** (degrees)
IAM (1-byte)** (multiplier)
Ignition Base Timing* (degrees)
Intake Air Temperature (C)
Intake VVT Advance Angle Left (degrees)
Intake VVT Advance Angle Right (degrees)
Knock Correction Advance (IAM only)* (degrees)
Mass Airflow (g/s)
Throttle Opening Angle (%)
Vehicle Speed (kph)

You should drive normal. Inclusive of that, drive spiritedly or like if you are on a track. In another log, perform a drag pull, but you do not have to launch. Also include 3rd and 4th gear pulls for Dyno power. These should be down at very low rpm to redline.

Some good info there thanks :)

Just curious, I see there are 2 AFR sensors there which I assume are part of the stock setup? So you're able to safely tune these cars without the use of a proper wideband sensor like an Innovate or Zeitronix?

Cars already runs rich and you are not pushing the boundaries either.

Also from experience, the AFR can be off by .20 or so.
