It probably works but once it happens to one store they probably sharpen up and radio ahead to stop this kind of thing happening again . Plus drive throughs have cameras now so they might treat it the same as a petrol driveaway, i.e. have cops knocking on your door later.

The timing of things is really funny...

I was sitting at the RTA with the ticket number 206 and the queue was up to 182 and moving slowly. There were stacks of people walking out. So, when number 187 was called and no one moved, I set out for the counter.

They never ask you your number and they never check your ticket... Mind you, I wonder how many demerit points that offense brings?
