They're genuinely nice and safe for the little ones, stops their heads from rolling about.
IIRC there is however something about them that means they can't be used in Aus, some ADR compliance or something maybe

They probably only come with ISOFIX mountings, which will fit perfectly into a Liberty, but are currently illegal.

I bet recaro dont make them either the just rebadge with some name stiching and flash bright covers. a friend brought a new forester then paid over $500 for the subaru child seat. After a closer inspection it was a safe and sound seat in blue that they had embroided subaru into the shoulder strap covers. the seat i got was the safe and sound top of the line about 3 models up from it but i only paid around $400.
