^^ neither did i for a while, found it eventually, smythie posted it on a random ancient thread i happened to be scrolling through

Take the url http ://youtube.com/watch?v=mrGudv3tThQ&feature=related <-- (this is copied from the original post, not your actual video)

Take the text and numbers immediately after the first = sign but before any non alpha numerical characters and surround with [youtube2] tags. In your case it was "mrGudv3tThQ"

PS - Can never seem to get the You Tube links to come properly :(

I've marked the problems in red.
The youtube1 bbcode reuires the full url, with ONLY the "v=" parameter. The &ob=av3e at the end confuses it.
The youtube2 bbcode only wants the video ID, which is the bit after "v="
So:
Code: Select all
[youtube1]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0DeIqJm4vM[/youtube1]
and
[youtube1]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAYL5H46QnQ[/youtube1]
or
[youtube2]gAYL5H46QnQ[/youtube2]
will work

and

or

will work

Since this JDM sticker thread has turned in to a Lonely Island thread I thought I'd throw my 2c in... Lonely Island are creating an ad for the 2012 Doritos Crash The Superbowl competition to play during the half time break during the superbowl. They're competing against the public to get #1 ad and win $1m (but they'll donate theirs to charity if they win)... 30 seconds but personally can't wait to see how they go!
