I couldn't decide between a Falcon or a 300C. Now I can have the best (or worst?) of both worlds with this unique vehicle!

Definitely go for it mate! I wouldn't sell separately though unless you have some spare cash lying around, maybe ask him for a straight swap!? Otherwise you might not manage to make up the $16,000.
