My father took some footage like that the first time he went to India. Then he drove in it. Swore he should have been dead have been dead 50 times over. Interestingly, he said that the traffic just "works". After working there for a number of years he just laughs at our traffic.

Yep same thing in Thailand. I rode a motor scooter which for me was the first time I was in control of anything motorised on 2 wheels in traffic. I had my gf on the back as well.

Bumper to bumper peak hour traffic in Phuket, inches from cars in all directions. I had no fear, everyone had perfect awareness of their surroundings and were patient. Everything flowed well considering the volume of traffic and tight roads.

Here? I'd be scared shitless riding a motorbike in peak hour traffic.

Reminds me of the traffic I saw while in Vietnam earlier this year. They're all freaking insane!

LOL I like this!!

Altho I must admit...when I went to KL last December driving there was quite an adventure...Ive been in Australia since 2003 and LOL. I forgot what driving in Asia can be like. Basically...just use common sense. 3 lane freeway? no worries. squeeze yourself in and there u go. 5 lanes.

North-South highway (leads from KL through to Thailand or one of those places) - I drove to Penang at 160 kmh..unfortunately in a bloody Camry (In Asian markets its the Australian styled Aurion with the 2.4lt engine). Wished I had the lib there!! And here's the deal - people were going past me...litreally zoooming. They wouldve been on 200km/h. And yeah, there are crashes, but not that many either!!
