Who went and what did you think of the 'race we had to have'?...its our tax dollars at work!
I'm now on my 4th Liberty, I enjoy the pain they cause!! The 3.6l is in a world of its own.

It was a Smash fest - the circuit was designed that way, which I'm sure the team bosses wouldn't be too happy about. They're all like yay! another street Circuit to smash $200 grand on per car wooot!

i didn't actually go but as you know from previous posts I don't support the waste of tax payer dollars.

The money should have been better spent on running things at Eastern Creek. Even if they had to spend some money keeping people happy/quiet they wouldn't have spent as much and would have had a better track with better racing.

Didn't actually go, but any / all my mates that did go said it was a fantastic event.

Personally I think they should've kept Oran Park & ran the races there... Maybe not a "500" event, but at least OP is good to see on TV. I watched a bit of the coverage on Sunday & found it rather uninspiring.

I went 3 days, a fare amount of those days was spent at Lidcombe where theres a 24hr pub right outside the station, train every 10 mins to and from and its FREE..reall beers at half the price, big screens and A/C...made it toughto keep going back to the blazing grill plate that is Homebush!!...that and $5.50 for mid strength girls beer XXXX Gold!!

i went the 3 days.. if it wasn't so damn hot it probably would have been enjoyable, that and if the
missus didn't wanna get every drivers autograph :roll:
