Bretts car is a VF54 running 16psi falling to 13.2psi and got a 13.3

Is that a bigger or smaller turbo in comparison though Matt?

VF54 is a smaller than a VF52 for wheel sizes. Good flow exhaust housing design though

Need to link up the South American and European times

Regardless, we're not talking about a VF54 matt, shav has a VF46. And if he can do a 13.0 like you told him, with his power level, I'll eat my hat

Vf46 with Shavs mods will not do 13. Highly 13 -14 yes.

Vf52 with Shavs then possible id say ..

Yeah tell me about guys. haha.

With my car it feels really good, but not low 13 kind of good if you know what I mean. I have mates who have had 12 & 13 second cars before so I can tell. I'd be happy with a high 13 to be honest. Anything under that is a bonus. The VF46 is a rip snorter for the street down low, but like everybody says, lacks top end which I reckon will hamper the times.

I still back a 13.5 or slightly under with a proper boost launch in the auto if your car is a maxed out vf46 on e85 as I understand it to be.

I'm talking 1.7-1.8 60 ft time which is definitely possible with brake boosting (holding it for several seconds to get at least 14psi on the line)

Top end is hampered yes but the 1/4 mile e/t mostly relates to first 660ft which is torque and the vf46 on e85 has sufficient torque to get you down there

Trap speed won't be as good as a bigger turbo equivalent (small turbo, tallish gearing) but this is a moot point here

No E85 Mick. Only tuned to P100.

I can brake boost it to probably 2000rpm?

Sorry for some reason I thougt u were e85 tuned

And brake boosting to 2000rpm is not brake boosting

Brake boosting is 3500rpm plus

All good mate. I wasn't sure if E85 is the way to go for a daily driven vehicle. Plus the E85 fuel station is an hours drive for me. Also reading on here about the recent experiences has made me think twice about using it. I probably want to get the most out of P100 for now as is.

I've never brake boosted to that rpm before. I have been afraid to in case I blow the trans up. haha

Yeah fair enough Shav

When you brake boost to 2000rpm its not really brake boosting as that's the natural stall speed for part lockup if you floored it in say first or second gear from a stand still

Its when the engine load is able to be built up on the Convertor that you spool up the turbo and "brake boost"

Based on this information, do you think a 13.5-13.99 is more realistic and achievable once I get the launch procedure correct?
